Nutrition Consultant Prof. Dr Muazzez Garipağaoğlu talked about how to combat spring fatigue by eating a balanced and healthy diet. Here is some nutritional advice that will be beneficial in fighting spring fatigue….

Explaining how to combat spring fatigue, Garipağaoğlu said, “We should prepare our body for spring by putting an end to nutritional mistakes made during the winter months. We can overcome spring fatigue with a diet rich in vitamins and minerals that will strengthen our immune system. Consuming seasonal fruits and vegetables and meeting the required vitamins A, C, and E is essential. Purslane is a high source of Omega-3 and supports the strengthening of immunity with its potassium and magnesium content. At the same time, it is beneficial to consume artichokes in 3-4 servings a week. In addition to the vitamins it contains, artichoke helps the body to work regularly because it has ‘Cynarin’, an effective weapon against fatigue. Apple and kiwi, which support immunity, reduce the effects of fatigue with their high vitamin C content while giving energy. You can consume apples, kiwis, eggs, and cheese for breakfast. Consuming cheese enriched with vitamin D and prebiotics for breakfast will meet the daily requirement and be effective in fighting against many health problems. You can have a feast of health and taste at breakfast by combining fruits and cheese.”
